Mullin is an ideal Trump-style candidate: crude, unqualified, an aficionado of violence, conspiratoral, MAGA, and lacking relevant education and experience. Noem theoretically had the management experience of being a governor with about 14,000 government employees. (DHS has over 250,000.) Mullin doesn't even have any management experience other than managing a little local plumbing company.
Mullin is demonstrably less qualified even than Noem and has more violent tendencies. They seem to have similar aversions to facts. If the Senate makes the error of confirming him (or if Trump makes him the acting director), expect more violence and law breaking and possibly less cosplay commercials.
Can't we, the normal people, have even one person in this administration that doesn't repulse us because of their deplorable character and their lack of qualifications? It's hideous! But it's so dangerous not to mention disgraceful. Really, did you ever think you would see the day that we would be having these conversations? Markwayne Mullin being elected United States Senator by the people in Oklahoma reminds of the movie, "Deliverance" and it reinforces the stereotype of many, not all, who reside there; and the idea that just because something is a stereotype doesn’t mean it's not true. In my opinion, it holds true (to some degree or another) for the majority of Oklahoma voters having elected the likes of "two firstnames, not even with a space between" Mullin to the Senate. Just one more reason our Country is effed up!
