This is beyond sickening, but I am left with the question...where are the deported women being sent and what is happening to them...as well as the deported children? I'll also add, shame on CBS! I'm waiting for the world to bring the U.S. to justice!

Good question, but frightening to even imagine. Yes, I hope the rest of the world steps in for the sake of justice.

I'm shocked! And deeply saddened by how low our country has fallen.

Yes shame on CBS. Why haven't the reputable journalists quit the show. Is everyone going to roll over and become Trump TV.

I absolutely agree with you this is beyond horrible. This administration should be brought on human rights charges in my opinion. They treat animals better than these men. Sickening no words can describe what this administration has done.

Actually...Noem shot and killed her dog and killed a goat she owned.

CECOT is not a maximum security prison... It is a slow motion extermination camp.

After the Nuremberg Trials, didn't the Allies hang a number of Germans for involvement in crimes against humanity?

I think you're right! They also were not allowed to get away with pleading that they were just following orders.

I don't watch TV or stream the news. I avoided seeing clips when this illegal rendition occurred. But I forced myself to watch the CBS report. I am truly sickened by what I saw, even though the report doesn't contain footage of the violence that the men were forced to endure. I am sickened that all of this happened in my name, in our names. And I am disgusted that we haven't figured out how to end the foul and monstrous regime that sent asylum seekers to El Salvador in direct defiance of a federal court order. The midterm elections are still so far away...how can we begin to bring the regime to account before then?

Boycott CBS and all its advitizers.

I am stumbling over myself for words, and I am never speechless (as you know!). I have seen things this past week regarding the level of severe illness and starvation, among children and BABIES, due to USAID funding being stopped. I cannot get away from the images - they are haunting me as the images of the starving people of Gaza still do. Now I see this and read your post ... I am beyond horrified and sick, there are no words to express the impact of all this on a person who has not been desensitized. I feel physically ill that our government is the cause of this extreme inhumanity, this lack of compassion, this lack of basic morals and conscience! What may be acceptable in other countries is NOT acceptable for the United States. And this inhumane torture is not acceptable by any world organization. Where does the horror of the trump regime end? And their control over the news media and the information we get is as unconstitutional as it gets. I pray for forgiveness for the thoughts I have because of them. But THEY are more criminal than most immigrants they are deporting - they are TRAITORS!!! If only we could deprive them of all human rights and subject them to this treatment, and put them in this prison. They DESERVE to suffer the illness, starvation and torture they inflict. NO MERCY!!!

We might all agree that our "leaders" are guilty of premeditated mass murder. They should be put on trial!

This is the awful consequence of getting on the slippery slope of a global war on terror that has no regard for rights or anyone “Other.” Bush 2 normalized it, Trump redux exploits it.

The current Administration is a devotee of white supremacy. I thought we were past that but they are strongly for it. To them everyone in the country must speak English and have white skin. I am white but my skin is pretty much the color of a Crayola skin colored crayon which I think was retired several decades ago. Truly white skin would be rather repellant.

This makes my skin crawl and stomach sick. Your tax dollars are also paying for this. How appalling.

The people who did this need to be held accountable. Noam has confirmed she is a heartless, evil, soulless person. That should have been obvious after she seemed to like to shoot dogs and goats that annoy her. Apparently she got away with animal abuse so she moved on to humans.

Not many surprises, EXCEPT those clothes every prisoner is wearing...new? Well fitting? Appropriate for the heat? It looks positively heinous!
