The felon BRAGGED about covering the 100+ year-old marble of the reflecting pool, with swimming pool liner shit! He tore down part of a historic landmark. He wants to build a grotesque arch which would uglify the intentional layout of DC and all its history. The lack of appreciation for what resemble expected human values and virtues is beyond the scope of those who are "in charge." Each person is an embarrassment to the office held. From the very top to the bottom no one who hold office brings a sense of propriety. I've had to steel myself every time I hear of a new "unprecedented" atrocity committed by this group of idiots. My first emotion is cringe, with sides of embarrassment and humiliation. The disrespect for our World War II heroes shows how little this regime thinks of patriotism. We older people whose fathers suffered years overseas cannot fathom a Naval officer on that ship that took paunchy Patel out there, did not say 'NO.' My father earned five bronze stars and a purple heart. He was in the first wave to hit the shores of Omaha Beach, was in the Battle of the Bulge, liberated one of the death camps, was left as a sole survivor in two battles. My deceased husband, a Vietnam Veteran, told me I did not know what my dad had been through. And I didn't. Every day my dad would take a nap. If he heard a noise he would hit the floor. He did that every day of his life. This jackass in charge irks me. He comes from a family of cowards. He's a worthless piece of crap.

This administration has no respect for any solemn, sacred places that represent real sacrifice and/or beauty. I've gone to memorials with my sixth grade students...who knew without being told that you did not run and cavort near the Vietnam, Korean, or Nurses' Memorials. They were hushed in the Holocaust Museum, and some cried. My own children whispered, as did everyone else as we walked through the amazing and serene Muir Woods, a place like the National Forests which Trump wants to allow his logging buddies to invade for profit. This list goes on and on. He only values money and power over others. He holds no value for the really precious elements of our history or our world.
The disgust I feel as the son of a WW2 Navy veteran cannot be expressed without the vehemence overwhelming my senses.
If we had a real President we could expect that he or she would call for a resignation from Patel, a strong talk with the Chief of Naval Operations demanding the immediate demotion of all the SEAL members that were involved in this atrocity and a letter in the personnel jacket of the Commanding Officer of those SEAL members effectively barring him from promotion.
That is hallowed ground. It should not have happened. Somebody WILL take the blame.
