Lets not leave out the illicit Republican gerrymandering that influenced the Electoral College vote. Yes, We need to get rid of both and Citizens United as well. An amendment to the Constitution that institutionalized the Popular Vote in presidential elections is a must have.
Vera it would have helped a lot if ALL eligible voters had voted (and they ditched the outdated antique Electoral College)but unfortunately only 62% did. My guess is she would have beat him. He didn't win the popular vote (for the 3rd time). He claimed a "landslide" but actually got only 2 million more votes than she but when you add in all the votes for other candidates, he lost by 2 million in the total vote count. In a rational world (without the EC), since neither of them got 50%, there would have been a runoff and with a few more months, she would have prevailed. Some things of the past need to be retired.
Why would anyone have put a nothing but a Reality TV Show Host into our WH. That was INSANE. Someone, is writing a script for him to follow. You need to find out who that someone is and make the punishment strong enough for all to see, so it never happens again in AMERICA.

I don't think it will do any good to dwell on the depth of pathology we are forced to face, there is a LOT wrong, but I think it's pretty simple, too, letting dishonest, criminal & predatory behavior slide, corruption got the upper hand. It's been there all along, but it was controlled it to a large degree. Maybe we didn't realize how important & we took hard won gains by previous generations for granted. If we can take our government back & do the work of a lot of these things that haven't been right a long time...it will be worth it. The 2024 election has led to nothing but being the laughing stock of the free world (and quite possibly the unfree world). Prices are up. The country is a shambles and Trump thows a fit if anyone at all doesn't bow before his wishes. The Justice Dept. is making war on his enemies and he is pardoning anyone who will pay him. Plus sending troops into more and more blue cities. I think Memphis is the only city in a red state. And our legislature hates us.
He is the epitome of disgrace. Like the AI of him in a fighter jet, taking a dump on helpless Americans. Just goes to show what he really feels about the people living in the land of, the not so free.
