Growing up in a Reform Jewish household, my parents had their one bourbon on the rocks every evening before dinner. Strictly social drinkers. My friend's Orthodox grandparents had their schnapps every day. And I am sure my brother drank well as a member of both a high school and college fraternity.
My story was the same ethnically and in terms of alcohol. I ended up liking it a bit more than my parents. But I’m very specific. I love tequila, good craft beer, like some wines, and living near the center of the bourbon universe, have grown to like it somewhat too. But that’s it for me

In ignorance, I never knew what to say when the local MAGA SAID “ I voted for Trump because he is a businessman and he’ll know how to handle the economy”. Holy S**t!! I hope SOME now understand the Pandora’s box that they opened!
