Nailed it. Two reasons you don’t see as many older autistic adults: 1) lack of diagnosis, thus a lost generation of Gen X’ers and boomers, and 2) the suicide rate is off the charts. This includes fast means, and slow suicide through drugs or alcohol.

Infuriating! Many autistic people have unusual and extraordinary gifts. They see things differently than neurotypical people and can offer so much if given the chance to contribute.
