Wonderful, informative discussion. Thank you all! I participated in the No Kings peaceful protest and was SO proud of my town, Cedarburg, Wisconsin! Then afterwards watching MeidasTouch coverage of the Philadelphia protest and others was SO inspiring! Best I’ve felt since before the election.

Thanks for all you do. I plan to attend the No Kings event in a California city, not LA or SF on Saturday. I'm a person of color and in anticipation of things going sideways, I will be bringing ID in addition to RealID, e.g., copies of passport and birth certificate. I asked the organizer about the silliness of this precaution, and she replied that if it helped to emotionally overcome any "Trump-timidation", then it's probably a smart move.

Thanks again.

Sen. Padilla is not under arrest and gave a statement, which available through a Google search.

Yeah I've seen him in an interview, and he can't exactly get to do interviews if you are behind bars

Kent State is an example of what happens when the military is called to interrupt a protest! 4 innocent kids dead, many wounded.

If a person drove up to my house, armed and face covered, and tried to plush their way into my house without showing a warrant, they will be risking their lives.

Yes Senator Padilla was arrested at a press conference that Kristi the puppy killer Noem was conducting in LA when he asked a question. Thrown to the ground & cuffed!
