A blistering, funny, and strategic breakdown of Trump’s decline, Democratic messaging failures, Epstein, and how to actually beat authoritarianism in 2026 and beyond.
Jack Smith couldn't mention anything before the election because it was an ongoing investigation and by law he couldn't. Let's learn the laws so they can stop gaslighting us.
Mostly good points. I do disagree that we have to look at "purple state governors" for candidates — that's the usual "blah blah blah centrism" the "mainstream media" has been feeding us for the last 20+ years. Sorry but I think Newsom, Pritzker and Moore would be excellent candidate also, not one from remotely "purple" state. I think the key thing is what they have done to manage their states and try to improve the lives of their citizens. I don't think Andy Beshear has some magic appeal the others don't.
Liz Warren perhaps. Bernie, no. He's like a mirror image of Trump: all personality, no substance. And if you took away HIM, there's no there there. Warren built a following based on policies.
Here's an example I've often use. Both advocated for a "Medicare for All" approach to health care. Bernie's 2020 campaign site had less than 500 words on the issue and it basically said "We'll do Medicare for All and it'll be magic." Warren had 10,000 (!) words describing every step to getting there. (Biden had about 5,000 words). But the media just swallowed Bernie's assertions and didn't question him while they hounded Warren with "How will you pay for it?" (It was on her site.) Women are always held to higher standards by the media — always.
You well highlighted all of the issues the Democrats should be emphasizing although I would broaden the attack from Trump to all Republicans because they are all complicit. This so-called President is bat-shit crazy and the Democrats are hiding under the couch. The Democratic Party as a whole gives Trump and Republicans a pass as to his bribes to himself and extorting money to himself, destroying our international relations, destroying our medical and technological research, and on and on. I too wonder what the Hell happened to the Democratic party. Are they just as complicit? Maybe.
Jack Smith is a patriot and American hero. Trump is a sociopath and criminal.
Why didn’t he say that before the election?

100% true
Time to name and shame democrats who won’t stand up to DJT
We can all agree on that!

Purple states are status quo. We need a young Bernie or Elizabeth Warren.

And don't even get me started on the standards black women are held to.
His quoted poem about 'the snake' can be looked at with new meaning by the MAGAtts, eh ?
The three of you are awesome. Thanks for the great discussion.
