Today, Yesterday posted a comment on Elie Wiesel's weekly newsletter that opined that the six on the Supreme Court should be impeached for violating their oath to our Constitution AND for their lies during their confirmation hearings for the Court when they promised that they would not undo previously settled decisions, which has happened more than once. What do all of you think about this?
It could work In a functioning republic. Here? We’re gonna need to win like Magyar in Hungary (~70%). Then veto everything Trump does, win in ‘28. Pass Court term limits, add to its size, investigate the RW 6 (I bet 2-3 run away) indict & convict them. DONE.
That all makes sense even to many of us way across the ditch.
But those calling for getting rid of the administration NOW must remember it can't be done in a day and the golden comb-over would be pardoning his mates as soon as it happened. So I believe doing the job by ballot is the best way to achieve an eventual carpet sweep of the whole damn lot would be best. There MUST be a "Supreme Court Reform Act" to include some of the following: No lifetime tenure starting with the Roberts 6, Term limits, Ethic Standards enforced by an Inspector General, An Inspector General assigned to investigate any hint of corruption of justices, No President is allowed to nominate more than 2 justices EVER, Rotate the Chief Justice every two years, Investigate the spouses of justices for conflicts of interest, If a justice lies during their confirmation hearing they are required to resign immediately, Expand the court to at least 12, justices must be required to appear before Committees of Congress if they are subpoenaed, etc.

I'm old enough to remember seeing people marching peacefully for the simple right to vote, and they were being hit with high powered fire hoses and attacked by police dogs, as well as being beaten by the police and jailed!
