Trump is a convicted felon who is not even allowed to vote in some states, but he was able to run for president. He is also an adjudicated rapist. It is beyond my comprehension why ANYONE would vote for him, but enough pathetic souls did vote for him, and the rest of us...and the world...are being punished for their actions. The U.S. has become...to use his words..."a shiithole country" in the eyes of the world. He and the rest of our administration break the law every day, and line their pockets, according to those keeping track...of billions of dollars already. The most heartbreaking of all...they allow thugs to murder our citizens, and then slander those citizens. It's past time for multiple impeachments. It's past time for the member of Congress AND the pathetic, biased Supreme Court to honor their oaths to our Constitution, our country, and to us.
I don't even think it's just in the eyes of the world. We have armed militias that can kill with impunity. We attacked another country without justification. We do see what is going on, but feel powerless to stop it. This requires the courts to step in and Congress to act to stop him. It is discouraging how much effort is required to fight each action. While this is another affront, it probably also helps to draw eyes away from the atrocities still taking place by I.C.E. and in I.C.E. facilities. Whether it is sick little Liam or the detainees in the Texas facility that were being denied heat when temperatures were dangerously low. Then, there is the threat of attack on Iran. The Trump administration is lower than whale shit.
What the regime is up to is terrifying. Well, it *has* been terrifying. They have now crossed yet another line. One would think the Department of "Justice" would back off from attempting to persecute--er, prosecute--Lemon and the others when the judge and the appellate court excoriated them for attempting to press their ridiculous charges. But no, Bondi et al, no doubt dancing to the strings of puppetmaster Stephen Miller, pressed on to empanel a federal grand jury to bring the charges anyway. Despicable. One can only hope that if the case goes to trial, they will face the same humiliation when the judge dismisses it summarily.
I think they are going to try to scare us out of voting - think again, guys, because Minnesota, at least, is having the opposite effect. MORE people are going to vote, because you’ve awakened them to politics again and they are very pissed off
