The UCMJ is racist and the military for decades had opposed women being allowed to serve. Senator Duckworth was a helicopter pilot who fought for freedom for all Americans and other nations during the wars. Her helicopter was hit by a rocket and killed the crew she commanded. She was severely wounded and both legs had to be amputated.
She is currently a member of the United States Senate.
The WASPS (women army service pilots) flew planes. The bombers, fighter’s, cargo, etc planes the men wouldn’t fly. They were test pilots who would fly planes that had accidents and crashed. The men pilots refused to fly.
They went through the same training courses and exercises that the men did.
Yet, when a woman pilot was killed serving her country against Nazi Germany. They weren’t sent home in a military plane. The other woman pilots took up money to pay for their bodies to be sent home.
After the war ended even though they were veterans who died and served their country just as the men were. They were not given VA benefits and were disbanded even though they showed their superiors and other pilots they were as good as if not better than any of the men pilots. Thirty eight of them died and didn’t receive military honors. Until decades later they were given VA benefits and the congressional medal of honor.
Some wanted to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery when they died. They were denied that even though they were veterans of our wars. Here we go again. Many years later the laws were changed to allow them to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
While we have a commander and thief who received five deferments and never served our country. A defense secretary who is unqualified and was an alcoholic and dismissed from several jobs due to his alcoholism and domestic violence cases.
Well. You know about the others who bowel down to tRUMP every single day. Lick his boots with blind loyalty. Others like Patel using the FBIs jet to go on dates with his girlfriend in California then fly back. Protects his drunken friend’s by making sure they are not arrested for being drunk and driving.
This is what WE have to STOP. The corrupt government led by tRUMP. His illegal actions on behalf of his family and billionaire’s and millionaires that give him millions of campaign contributions. Sell his bitcoin for millions and stopped the law enforcement and control of bitcoins by having the laws passed that would regulate bitcoins.
This corruption will be dealt with by electing democrats in November 2026 that will investigate and prosecute all of his crimes and his criminal activities. That will include his appointees who are guilty of crimes committed against humanity and the destruction of our democracy and the violence committed against American citizens and people who have committed no crimes.

Healthcare has been reduced to hit or miss, or much worse. I worked in helathcare mid 1980's -2007 and the Doc's knew shit was going down. Many of the older, specialized physicians said "adios" and hit it before the government really began to regulate what they could do and how much they could charge. This is a good thing to a degree but like anything else there's a spiral effect because no one was keeping guard on the insurance companies, the pharmaceutical developers or the Patients. I gave birth in a British army hospital in Germany many decades ago. Same story. Dismissive doctor pre birth. Young, inexperienced doc for the birth. Problem with the placenta delivery. Luckily, am experienced midwife had just come into the room and kicked him out. Otherwise I probably would not have survived. That this story endures is more than depressing, it is criminal.
So important to read this to understand what changes this regime has made to women service members’ medical care. These are changes completely negating what the Biden administration guaranteed. You can see Felon 47’s regime wants us barefoot, pregnant, and dead in the kitchen. If you are a woman of child-bearing age or have a daughter, be very afraid.
In 1990 my wife collapsed at home. I raced her to the ER of the hospital where I worked. The ER resident took one look and sent her directly to the OR. She was in surgery for an ectopic pregnancy with ruptured fallopian tube less than ten minutes later. The surgeon later told me that had we delayed by 30 minutes she would have died.
Had the resident felt a need to consult with an attending physician my wife would have died. Had the surgeon felt a need to contact a hospital attorney my wife would have died. Where abortion bans are in effect, there is a greatly elevated risk that women like my wife will die.
The ultimate irony is that by adopting the politicized, punative, extreme and often cruel playbook that temperance crusaders used to impose Prohibition on our nation in the last century, abortion ban politicians (overwhelmingly dominated by white Republican men) have guaranteed that when the political tide turns, as it inevitably will, their forced pregnancy laws will be reputiated and repealed, just as Prohibition was. But only after they have inflicted great harm, suffering, and cost.
I am so very glad you were there and that she survived! Ectopic pregnancies are no joke, and they ARE being contested in states with abortion bans right now, which is WILD. Totally absurd.

After my baby girl was born my blood pressure flew off the charts and a doctor came in and gave me a shot saying this will put you to sleep and bring your blood pressure down. Some days it seems like everybody in the country is angry and anxious these days.
When I was barely 20 years old I married a man in the US Army stationed at Fort Belvoir Army Base in Virginia. Shortly after we arrived, I developed a very painful kidney infection and was rushed to the base Army hospital.
Certainly I was not giving birth or even remotely in the life-threatening condition you were. They didn't seem to care that I was in horrific pain or that it could potentially get much worse. I was ignored, treated as a major nuisance and eventually handed a prescription (which didn't work) and pushed out the door.
Reading your horrific story enraged me all over again. Thank god your life was saved by a female doctor who did whatever it took to make sure your son had his mother.
