I feel ashamed for how this country treated Melissa Corrigan--and the other women she cites. And today our Department of Defense is poised to abuse ALL women in the service who become pregnant, whether they wish to carry their babies to term or seek abortions. The misogyny of the Secretary of Defense--and many male officers--cannot be denied. They would rather women were not allowed to serve. Welcome to the military in 2026.
Why is this situation being permitted to continue in our modern voluntary military? There is no excuse for the mental and physical deaths that could have been prevented. Shame on the people who permit this violation of women's rights to continue.
