I've had so much frustration, and you voiced most of my bigger irks. The flat faced LYING is absolutely fucking insane to me! How are people falling for this!? What reality is this?!
It's time to stop framing this as a partisan issue, because it isn't. This isn't about red v. Blue or Democrat v. Republican. This is real simple. It's about one side that wants to steal food from hungry children and healthcare for the poorest of Americans to make the richest white guys in the world a little richer, and the other side that thinks this is bad. It's that simple. It's not partisan, it's about fucking decency. One side has it, and one doesn't. One side wants to reverse the Robin Hood legend and the other wants people to not have to choose between starving to death or dying of illness.

People on X get corrected all the time for saying undocumented immigrants get benefits. The non-MAGAS yell at them constantly. They just keep repeating Trump’s lies. We need that posted on billboards all over the country. Today CNN kept running the truth on the bottom of the screen & a fact checker on CNN also called out the lie. Remember the democrats had an immigration bill under Biden that included much of what Republicans wanted, but Trump pressured them (Reps) not to vote for it so he could run on the issue. If Biden were a law breaker, he should have implemented it anyway, along with his student loan forgiveness programs. But who knew- that Presidents ignore the law, votes, & the other branches & do whatever they please. Too bad Biden had respect for the Congress.
ICE is getting paid during this shutdown. And have you seen the ICE recruitment ads? 5K sign on bonuses, student loan payoffs… But no help for granny with insulin costs.
