Hegseth is a White Christian Nationalist Fundamentalist INFECTING our U.S. military. HE is a Religious Fanatic - just like the Iranians! Impeach and Remove!!!!

Yeah he should really just go live in Iran, he’d be more comfortable with their expressions of religion. He’s definitely un-American. Also, pretty much an asshole

A great program on OnPoint the other day addressed this "What happens when religious fundamentalists come to power - Part Two". They had two authors on who were great - Katherine Stewart "Money, Lies, and God: Inside the Movement to Destroy American Democracy" and Robert Jones of the upcoming book "Backslide: Reclaiming a Faith and a Nation After the Christian Turn Against Democracy".

Errata: Iran is charging an equivalent of 2 MILLION u.s.d. in Chinese yuan or secured crypto currency (or $1 per barrel). But only if you're not a murdering degenerate psychopathic genocidal lunatic. Except for putinstain.

Yeah my guess is Xi is fine too. Iran aren’t the good guys, they’re also murdering degenerate psychopathic genocidal lunatics. The problem is we have these kinds in the countries that were once supposed to be the beacons of freedom fighting tyranny. Now they’re everywhere…

Colonel Stanislav Petrov. Incredible hero.

Cliff Schecter's avatar

Thank you for sharing his name, Steve, I knew it once, had forgotten. I don’t think hero quite does it justice. What do you call someone who saved our entire civilization?

Steve Lubot's avatar

I think you call him Colonel Stanislav Petrov haha :) and don’t let his name disappear into history as best you can…

Punkin' head thinks we are winning toooo much--no wonder he bankrupted casinos six times. I hope he and his family and cronies go bankrupt.

They will, it's inevitable. He handles money like most people handle a burning bag of poop. But then again, Russia might just pull him out of the fire for the 10,000th time

I don’t find it super helpful to start off saying people should apologize, and perhaps more than they have so far; also not sure focusing on trump is helpful. That community part he was discussing is not trump. The gent who left maga had some points, apparently subtle, that sort of got walked over here. I think the nuances matter.

Explain more on the points/nuances, Emma. I'd love to hear your thoughts. I respectfully disagree on the apology. It gives him (as w Joe Walsh) credibility. When ya hurt ppl, you apologize to them. We all do. Wrt Trump, he created MAGA, so we must talk about him. We didn't focus on him, we started with Rich's journey from MAGA. Touched on community building. I agree w you Rich had many points. I'm glad he came on to share them.
