Never mind how unpopular Republicans are. Unless we seriously tighten up election security all over the U.S., they will again hack into our systems and fix a red tsunami in both houses of Congress. I don’t know of anyone who is doing anything about it either, except maybe www.electiontruthalliance.org and www.smartelections.us.

The substack "This Will Hold" is also on the case.

I suggest that each state in union, double their state police, train them for the midterm elections to secure as many polling places where trouble might cause election shutdown.

Even deputize an additional force to help out only for elections. Do it !

That’s a good idea to protect voters against low tech voter intimidation. What about high tech hacking, such as was also done in 2024 to flip Kamala votes to votes for Comrade Krasnov?

Do NOT trust John Thune from South Dakota on anything!! He tries to hide from the public but he needs to be dragged into the public eye all across America. He is a major reason Americans are about to get Screwed big time by the Republicans, led by John Thune in the Senate. Thune is so afraid of Trump that he does nothing to help Americans and even the people from his own state. He pretends to be this good ole boy from South Dakota who is just an ole rural boy. He is in the pocket of the billionaires. He is about to Screw his own constituents and Americans like he always does! John Thune is the "Coward" from South Dakota. And John Thune is a willing active member of the group who are actively working to undermine democracy and the future of America.

Wow. What a way with words you have. Well said amigo

Thank you David. I appreciate it! I love writing, look at it like an art form. So I at least try—if not always succeed—and using interesting language, entertaining readers along the way if possible, however I can make the piece more interesting. Again, thx so much :)

Brilliant, Cliff. Apt descriptions of the farce cosplaying at being in the Government. This rat pack of assholes have only one interest and that is making sure they get theirs. I particularly loved the comment about Johnson's testicles disappearing when ever the fat felon snaps his stubby fingers.

Cliff Schecter's avatar

Thanks so much al always, Tim! As for that Johnson line, I didn’t even have to think for a second. It just came to be. Bc, well, you see the way he looks when Donny walks in the room. F*king pathetic.

Trump, MAGA, his toadies & the Supreme Court, feel that they can get away with this through election fraud. Can we stop it, that is the great question!

A regime that thrives on disseminating pain and fear now raises the ante to death.

Their ghoulish legacy will be forever remembered long after they’re gone.

Not only the subsidies but they also got rid of things like capping insulin at $35 a month. Still waiting for those 1500% discounts on prescriptions! 🙄

I don't recognize my country anymore. These RAPEpublicans are what these fools voted for. I feel NO sympathy for them.

Donnie needs a quiet room in the locked Memory Care wing of a skilled nursing facility.

Well said and thoroughly covered. Thank you once again, Cliff. However, it's one of those cases that 'the truth hurts'! Their b.s

is constant, an ongoing out of control destructive mass of evil bastards destroying everything good in our country. I am almost ashamed to say, they bring out the very worst in me. I did not know I was capable of such anger, disgust and loathing! I pray I do not lose my soul standing up and speaking out against their pure evil. May justice prevail.

Expect a Ross Perot 1992 style conservative to split the vote with what's left of the Republican party in 2028. If that person is an independent, then Republicans will just re-brand again. If that 2028 candidate is from a third party, then we will see Whigs 2.0

Given what I understand about the connections of the Bush family and the 2007 Epstein sweetheart deal, I'm not sure MAGA lasts until NYE. There's a delicious irony that the "will not replace us" people are self-immolating and having themselves replaced politically in 2026.

Self-immolating! Terrific image! KL

Dear Blue. We need to assemble groups of fired prosecutors and employees who had oversight before they were fired to show what would be reversed and re-implemented to take down Trump and show all how they will be prosecuted and impeached. , and rules they have violated and laws they have broken and how much money has been stolen and all of the grift and subversion and selection of the next 5 judges to be added to the Supreme Court and reveal the money trump received from fraud on pardons.

In other words show America what we would be doing if we had both houses, the presidency and the Supreme Court,

Do this reveal and show on YouTube as the better government for all of the people. Leave the trumplican party in ashes. They are no longer needed.

Finn Frock's avatar

Yes…. This is what we get for opening the government giving up any leverage we might have had.

Fuck Schumer with a. Nazi dick.

Fantastic breakdown of the Thune bait-and-switch. The $1000 HSA proposal is almost insulting when premiums are gonna double for 24 million people. What really gets me is how they're torpedoing their own voters here, half of those 24M are Republican and 6 in 10 support extending subsidies. I've seen local GOP chapters in swing districts already freaking out internally about this, knowning it'll be a bloodbath in '26. The Whig comparison feels spot-on tbh.

There is no doubt.... we must vote them out !!!

Jonathan Herbert's avatar

There will not be actual elections. The Pedoparty will “win” just like Nov 2024.

And many many know it but nothing gets done. It is a one-party system and the paid is Wealth.

We ain’t in it.

Finn Frock's avatar

Then let’s get in it!

Brilliant. The analytical rigor applied to this impending crisis is truly exceptional. It's a stark elucidasion of the profound risks to fundamental human dignity and democratic viability. Your insights are essential reading.
