But anyone should be able to look at just the surface of the economic situation and see how disastrous it is. I still cannot believe so many people actually voted for this incompetent ass after witnessing the chaos and lies of his first term. What the hell??? And also, thank you for giving Joe Biden some of the credit he is due. The economy was growing and stable under him. People think the economy is just prices we pay when we shop. It's a much larger picture!! He's old but wise and experienced, and he DID a great deal of good for us and this country. I am grateful to him. Especially so, as we live this nightmare that is destructive at all levels to our country and government. Seems every day we fall deeper into the point of no return.
Bashing Americans isn't helpful to the millions of us who have been working exhaustively the past 15 years to fight this evil presence and the foreign interferences that infiltrated our elections and media to get him elected. We need allies and help in eradicating this blight.
If you fail to include foreign interference in the situation, you will be missing a large component of how this happens and of the global trend in authoritarian influences. China and Russia have been chipping away at the US for decades. A lot of mis and disinformation attacks by skilled evil doers.
All for one and one for all, sadly. As a society this is all of our fault exacerbated by years of misdeeds and extorted by this regime and its supporters. We as a country belittle entire nations for do what we are now. America is the titanic and some of us believe just like Jack that we will survive, but know better.
So where is the NYT or WaPo business section's exposes on this? It's even more blatant than their reluctance to call out the rapid visible decline of the orange menace. After all, there are data to tell the story--and there are people who lost their jobs because trump's "golden age" of manufacturing is a total farce. Surely those august journals could find a story or two in that, no?
