EVERYthing this admin does is a "cash flow" decision.
If Trump can grab the cash/resources involved, or send it to billionaires, those needing the benefits are SOL.

"Only the strong survive." Everyone else gets their benefit resources routed to Trump, or someone more able to benefit Trump.
Anyone not benefiting Trump in some way will not be needed, and if they need help to survive they'll be "eubonixed" out of the picture as not being "strong enough."

There has been so much disgusting and brutal change to our country in a short time. Thank you for sharing this important information- I cannot believe that this is our America. They need to consider those that they know within their families and communities who have the need for accommodations and supports, but who also have value and skills as all people and employees. I cannot think of one member of the current admin who should be in public service.
This is the result of a grossly incompetent group of people who were put in power by an ill informed voter base. We have to do better individually, as citizens, to educate our population. This regime is doing everything they can to bar us from doing just that. My heart goes out to those who will lose their livelihoods and sense of self reliance. Actually, one of my great concerns is the number of super-rich to have voted for Trump specifically due to his promises to gut the IRS.
The money not going to taxes? Oh, I'm sure they'll find a way to make up for the loss. They'll "find it" by cutting benefits to the disabled, the elderly, the autistic, Title IX, those needing expensive meds or educational assistance. (They already did it once to the tune of $1T.)
Then it will likely expand to include the "intellectuals"...
I know this is the unchristian thing to say. But I hope RFK,Jr ends up in a wheelchair. Needing a catheter. And a hoyer lift or sit to stand for transfers. I wander how long it would take for his family to find caregivers. Or if he gets sick, is he going to want a Tylenol, if he is on blood thinners.
Yes, they have “paused” this while seeking a “clarification” from HHS. But that doesn’t mean this fight is over… We need a clear and certain statement about teleworking being protected.
Maybe We The People should not allow the absurdly wealthy through his grifts orange guy, to use a golf cart to get around for his "job" of not "presidenting". Make him walk and carry his own clubs. He should also be required to stand at the Resolute Desk so we can make sure there is no puppeteer under it. Oh yes, and when the escalator stops, as it did at the UN, walk up the dang stairs! Most Americans have had to do that at one time or another in their lives...even people his age.
(I personally know of a young man, not wealthy, who works from home, is having chemo for cancer, his mom has Multiple Sclerosis, and his sister suffers from epilepsy).
