Trump Tests His Power To Raid & Invade Our City Streets
Los Angeles is now the stage for something far bigger than a street protest. What started as a demonstration has erupted into a full-blown constitutional crisis, with the-more-gassy-than-a-dirigible, Donald Trump, ordering the National Guard into California—over Gov. Gavin Newsom’s clear objections.
Trump’s move reeks of authoritarianism—just as his clothes reek of week-old beer cheese and a hazard-taped, OK State Fair porta-potty. Trump is bypassing laws that define who controls the National Guard within state borders. He is putting on a show for his American-Taliban base and to fill the eternally empty hole in his bloated body. This isn’t about public safety—it’s about power.
Newsom, to his credit, spoke in exactly the defiant tone Democrats should, below. Now he needs to be out on the streets, with his people, with actor Wyatt Russell, telling everyone to peacefully protest—but NOT give in. This is the kind of strength and leadership we need right now. Ask yourself this, Gavin: What would Zelenskyy do?
This may be a political standoff. But it’s a much more crucial moral and constitutional test. On one side, a governor defending state sovereignty and the right of peaceful protesters to…peacefully protest. On the other, President-can-I-be-Saddam Hussein, who ordered the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to shoot peaceful protesters outside the White House his first term—as he cowered in a bunker. Bone spurs can flare up any time, ya know.
Trump who cares about nobody and nothing but his own gelatinous, moldy corpus, is using military muscle as a PR stunt, and a test for the future. Trump wants headlines showing force, not peace. He wants confrontation, not resolution. It’s a page out of the old dictator playbook: create a crisis, then show up as a savior. And as always, the people caught in the middle—the protestors, the communities, the National Guard troops themselves—are the ones who suffer.
But here's the twist: just days ago, the news cycle was dominated by the Trump vs. Elon Musk feud. Budgets. Tariffs. Epstein files. Accusations flying like shrapnel between two putrid humans with unearned egos, and heads filled with more bullshit than he Dutton Ranch in Yellowstone.
Then—bam—LA explodes into focus. Coincidence? Maybe. But let’s not pretend Trump doesn’t know how to hijack a narrative. Let’s also remember what else dominated the headlines: Vladimir Putin being absolutely outplayed and humiliated by the Churchillian Vladomir Zelenskyy, who delivered drones in trucks causing $7 billion in damage while destroy over 40 aircraft Putin used to bomb civilians.
We know Putin owns Trump, from Manafort’s poll sharing to Trump’s Helsinki Shuffle. As for Musk, he not not only has been having private conversations with Putin, but advocated cutting all aide to Ukraine and pulled their Starlink, just when they needed it to attack Russian troops. Putin just offered Musk asylum after his feud with Trump broke out. I think we can see what’s going on there pretty clearly.
Let’s just say shirtless-Pootie also had a reason to want a narrative change and may have called an audible. Like Putin, Trump—while dumber than a dingo—understands a few things—let’s call them the 3Ds: Distract. Deflect. Dominate.
Los Angeles could’ve easily been a spark he lit to drown out the Musk storyline, or orders could’ve come in from his borscht boss, or Elon—while pulling down that tweet about Epstein with no explanation—could’ve also heard from a little Pootie that it’d be best stop fighting on Twitter, and let/help the majestically malignant moron in the White House start the fighting in Los Angeles.
While the media squabbles over who's winning the meme war, we must ask, besides the Zelenskyy story disappearing, there are many ways Putin, who’s long wanted an America divided, destabilized and distrustful of its own institutions, benefits from the chaos. A president who sends troops into liberal cities, governors who defy federal orders, oligarchs at each other’s throats—this is the chaos dream scenario. And the more Trump acts like a Kremlin wannabe, the more suspicious the whole thing gets.
This is a five-alarm fire for democracy. Don’t get lulled by spectacle—whether tanks on boulevards or billionaire babies pissing out tantrums. The real story is our system’s being tested, bent and maybe broken. We have a president who thinks he’s above the law, a state fighting for its rights and its people and corporate media muttonheads too distracted by stupid or clicks to follow the money and power behind the scenes.
Keep your eyes open. This isn’t just about LA. It is far more than that. This is about who controls the United States of America—and the gangrenous galoots trying to tear us apart. We must fight them every day to not only reestablish our democracy, but create new structures to enhance it, to keep it, so we never go through this again.

Trump’s Loyalists Break Ranks Over LA Crackdown
Even His Allies Say the National Guard Move Went Too Far
Ileana Garcia, Florida st. senator and co‑founder of Latinas for Trump (I guess she slept thru his speech in 2015 about Mexicans here being “criminals and “racists”) broke with the Trump this weekend—describing the LA immigration arrests and use of federal troops as “unacceptable and inhumane.” She emphasized that due process is non‑negotiable, even under a Trump administration
Sen. Rand Paul (R‑KY), a self-professed libertarian (or Neo-Confederate numbskull, even if right this time), joined the dissent. Citing constitutional limits and Posse Comitatus Act, Paul reiterated his long-standing position that military use domestically—especially deportations or protest suppression—is legally dubious and a red line, reinforcing his skepticism of Trump's approach
Our friend, award winning reporter and author Brian Karem, has been covering the events in LA on the ground. He wrote about Trump’s actions there for us just yesterday and covered more of Trump’s maneuvers & malfeasance at his Substack, which you should read, and to which you should SUBSCRIBE!

Stop it. LA is not on fire. We’re fine…but national guard and marines on our streets is unacceptable.
LA is not a police state. Let local government decide what to do. 47 didn’t even call national guard in on his insurrection. Is he scared now? Whinny titty baby.
