Everything they touch turns to sh*t at our expense. Sorry but after the past weekend, I have HAD IT!!! They do not care about us at all, not one bit.

Trump administration and dismantle many federal programs to help Americans.

Many more people will die because of their ill planning and destruction.

As Rick Wilson says “everything Trump touches dies“

You know things are bad when Cancun Cruz is shamed into coming back from Laguna Beach. Weird how that guy has so many "pre-planned" trips out of state that just *happen* to coincide with something disastrous happening to Texas. It's uncanny, really.

Those poor southern states voted to gut FEMA. Karma

Reductive and unhelpful. Southern states are no more monolithic than the northern ones full of self-satisfied Yankees thattfink they know everything about everyone.

Republicans have never sponsored help from the Fed for the citizens. This Administration is worse then most. They are wiping out agencies to help the nation. Obviously when disaster happens it is helpful to have Federal help for the area that it happened in. Probably cheaper to have all the help in one place to be transported to the disaster.

It's called Economy of Scale. There is, to oversimplify it a little, a lot more purchasing power at the federal level because they can buy in bigger bulk than a single state can. And while Schuster's not entirely right about sleet**, Southern states *don't* invest in large inventories of snow removal equipment soapily because they don't get large inventories of snow to remove. So the snowplows would sit in a warehouse rusting for 11 months out of the year, and the opportunity cost lost to maintaining them can't be put to use doing things like hardening the coastal areas against hurricanes (the tropical kind, not the hockey team, which only batters other locales like Detroit and Columbus).

**We know *plenty* about sleet, it's what we get instead of snow. In 1987 we got seven inches of the stuff and my coworker who came down from Erie, PA said "I've driven school buses in snow I was lowing with my front bumper, but I don't know *how* you guys drive in *this*." He was hitching a ride to work with me in my 1-wheel drive 1975 Malibu with my tools in the trunk.

South African grifter must has already escaped with his millions from our taxes. He has no thought for helping Americans.

Maybe Elon can return and put the agency back together.

Please please please...no more pictures of Trump's mug. They make me feel

like vomiting. I know he loves to see them no matter what he's done, but

...really....Yuk.

If this efficiency obsessed administration needs more time to flesh out its FEMA response system, I’m sure there are still some formaldehyde riddled trailers left over from the Katrina debacle in which they can plot their next ingenious move.

And they might meet welcoming neighbors for “brainstorming” sessions!
