Elon Musk and the Death of the American Myth
"Whether that means breaking up his companies, revoking his government contracts, or holding him responsible for his alleged crimes, the time to act is now"
There are moments in American history that shock the conscience, moments so jarring they seem almost unreal. Elon Musk, standing at Donald Trump’s inauguration and delivering a Nazi salute…is a sentence I never thought I’d write. And yet, here we are.
IMAGE VS REALITY
The man once hailed as a visionary, compared to Tony Stark(!), turned out to be so much more Tony Soprano. Without the smarts. Or charm. This supposed savior of humanity with his electric cars and rocket ships has made it abundantly clear who he truly is. Elon Musk isn’t just a bad, banal and boorish billionaire; he’s a national security threat wrapped in a veneer of faux-tech-bro swagger and cringe uncle jokes.
The image of Musk’s salute, captured in stark, horrifying clarity, is burned into our collective memory now. Standing there—with one of the more punchable smirks ever witnessed by humanity—with a man whose entire political ethos is built on division, hatred, and autocracy, Musk has revealed himself as not just complicit, but as the most active sponsor of the worst impulses in American and global politics.
Let’s not pretend this came out of nowhere. Musk’s Twitter feed has been a veritable cesspool of far-right conspiracies, anti-Semitic tropes, and authoritarian propaganda for years. I mean, why wouldn’t the richest man in the world, and billionaire owner of of the number one source of news for Americans retweet the Nazi opinions of Catturd14 or TheyKilledJesus420? And when not amplifying these white supremacists, he’s busy mocking civil rights movements, and even cozying up to fascist regimes abroad.
But this? This was different. This wasn’t trolling or “pushing boundaries.” It was an open declaration of allegiance to one of the darkest, most murderous ideologies the world has ever known. And it was done on one of the most public stages in the world.

MUSK IS AT HOME IN A WORLD OF WHITES SUPREMACY
The thing about Elon Musk is that he once was good at keeping his mouth shut. To many, he was the genius entrepreneur who wanted to save the planet and colonize Mars. But in, perhaps, four years’ time, he’s made crystal clear who he is now: Musk doesn’t care about saving the planet or free speech or anything else besides his fragile, toddler-adjacent ego and his bank account.
His salute at Trump’s inauguration wasn’t just shocking; it was clarifying. Elon Musk shares a vision with the worst devils in world history.
MAJOR NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT
This isn’t just a cultural or moral issue; it’s a national security crisis. Musk’s businesses aren’t just about selling cars or launching satellites. Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink—these are critical infrastructure for both the United States and its allies. And now, the man who controls them has shown he has no qualms about aligning himself with fascism. Imagine the kind of leverage this gives him. Imagine the kind of damage he could do if he decided to use his power to undermine democracy further.
It’s not hyperbole to say that Musk is one of the most dangerous men in America right now. His wealth, his influence, his control over key technologies (don’t forget his dancing)—all of it makes him uniquely positioned to wreak havoc on a global scale. Let’s not forget, this man’s been allowed to run amok with virtually no oversight. Our government, our institutions, and frankly, our culture have all been complicit in elevating him to this point. We’ve given him the keys to the kingdom, and now we’re shocked he’s using them to unlock the gates of and let every last barbarian in.
The question now is, what do we do about it? Because make no mistake, doing nothing isn’t an option. Musk has shown us who he is, and it’s not just offensive—it’s existentially threatening. We need to treat him the way we would any other national security threat: with urgency, seriousness, and a willingness to take bold action. Whether that means breaking up his companies, revoking his government contracts, or holding him responsible for his alleged crimes, the time to act is now.
I never thought I’d see this in America. I never thought I’d watch a tech billionaire—the supposed epitome of the American Dream—raise his hand in a Nazi salute at a president’s inauguration. But maybe that’s the problem. Too many of us bought into too many myths about American meritocracy. If Musk’s done anything good, it’s help shatter those myths. The only question is whether enough of us wake up to this reality before it’s too late.
Elon Musk - An Analysis of His Behaviour
( Roman/Nazi Salute)
In a meticulous analysis of the recent inauguration event for former President Donald Trump, it has been observed that Elon Musk, the wealthiest individual globally, executed two conspicuous gestures reminiscent of the Hitler salute. These actions were deliberate and unambiguous, embodying a symbol historically associated with the atrocities committed by the Nazi regime, which resulted in the deaths of millions. The pertinent inquiry arises: what motivated such a display?
Upon rigorous examination, it becomes evident that Musk’s actions were not merely performative but emblematic of a deeper ideological alignment. Historical records indicate that Musk’s maternal lineage harboured sympathies towards Nazi ideology, with documented instances of Holocaust denial. His father, Errol Musk, has been characterized by pronounced elitist and eugenicist beliefs, further complicating the familial narrative.
The nomenclature of “Elon” is purportedly derived from Errol’s fascination with rocketry during the apartheid era in South Africa, specifically influenced by Wernher von Braun, a former Nazi scientist. This connection is further substantiated by references to von Braun’s science fiction work, “Marsprojekt,” wherein a leader named “Elon” governs a Martian colony. Such historical intersections suggest a deliberate cultivation of ideological continuity.
Musk’s public persona reveals inclinations towards eugenicist thought, advocating for increased reproduction among certain demographics and expressing views that can be interpreted as supportive of hierarchical social structures. His endeavours, ranging from support for specific political movements in Europe to ambitious projects like Mars colonization, can be viewed through a lens that perceives a pursuit of ideological propagation.
The public execution of gestures associated with Nazi symbolism serves multiple functions. It acts as a litmus test for societal tolerance, gauging the extent to which such actions can be normalized or dismissed. The relative silence or muted response from mainstream media and political entities may indicate a broader desensitization or unwillingness to confront such displays, potentially due to complex socio-political dynamics.
In summation, Musk’s actions and historical affiliations suggest a nuanced and deliberate engagement with ideologies that warrant critical examination. The interplay between personal history, public behaviour, and societal response underscores the importance of vigilance in recognizing and addressing the resurgence of such ideologies in contemporary contexts.

Succinctly put, everyone should send this to their Senator and congressperson today. Remind me again why we are going to Mars?
I look forward to your angry letters.
