Deported Without Trial Into Danger: Trump’s Fascism in Full Swing—But Democrats ARE FIGHTING BACK NOW
Donald Trump—America’s two-bit wannabe dictator with a golden toilet and a heart of asbestos—is once again ignoring court rulings like they’re unpaid invoices from his sixth bankruptcy. This time, it’s his backroom deal with the dictator-state, El Salvador, to accept deported immigrants from the U.S., many of whom never even got a whiff of due process.
People like Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who legally lived in the U.S. for years, have been swept up and tossed out like ketchup against a wall at Mar-a-Lago by Big Baby. No hearing, no justice, just a MAGA-approved human vending machine—insert brown person, eject to foreign nation, no questions asked.
But not everyone’s bowing to a spray-tanned walrus of a strongman. Senator Chris Van Hollen is stepping up, and dragging the moral compass of this country along with him. Garcia was/is a Maryland resident, so the Maryland Senator flew to El Salvador to witness the human wreckage firsthand—and not without risk. Because, with Trump, there’s treachery around every corner (see Jan 6th and Mike Pence’s refusing to get in his car with “his” Secret Service).
I don’t want to get into the weeds of the Tom Clancy/Jack Ryan spy novel turned film, Clear And Present Danger, or the real-life horrific tragedy that took place in Jonestown, except to mention them both as a reminder that this is dangerous territory and Van Hollen’s showing the courage for which we’ve all clamored. He entering lawless terrain run by a strongman with hatred for due process and a Trump fetish.
What could go wrong?
